Kakobuy QC checklist: photos, measurements and approval rules

A spreadsheet helps you find an item. QC photos, warehouse photos, measurement photos, and agent notes help you decide whether that exact item should leave the warehouse. Do not treat those two steps as the same thing.

The goal is not to be impossible to satisfy. The goal is to catch visible problems early: wrong size, poor shape, crooked print, missing accessories, bad hardware color, or a listing that looked much better than the warehouse item.

1. Start with a simple QC decision

Before zooming into every detail, decide what kind of review the item needs. Some pieces only need a normal approval check, while others need extra photos or a replacement decision.

2. Photos to request or inspect

3. Category-specific checks

CategoryLook closely atCommon mistake
ShoesToe shape, heel height, sole color, pair symmetry, size tag, box condition.Approving from only top-down photos.
Hoodies and shirtsChest width, print placement, neck ribbing, embroidery texture, sleeve length.Trusting the seller chart without measurement photos.
BagsHardware color, stitching, strap placement, lining, zipper pulls, structure.Ignoring side and interior photos.
AccessoriesScale, finish, engraving clarity, clasp detail, included parts.Adding cheap extras without checking dimensions.

4. Measurements that matter

Measurements are most important when the item needs to fit your body, not just look right in photos. A hoodie with perfect embroidery can still be a bad purchase if the chest width or sleeve length is wrong.

ItemUseful measurementWhy it matters
TopsChest width, length, shoulder width and sleeve length. These decide whether the silhouette matches your expectation.
PantsWaist, inseam, rise and leg opening.Small errors can change the fit completely.
JacketsChest width, shoulder width, sleeve length and total length.Outerwear is harder to fix and more expensive to ship back.
BagsHeight, width, depth and strap length.Scale is often hard to judge from seller photos alone.

5. What is worth asking the agent?

Ask questions that can be answered from the warehouse. Measurements, close-up photos, missing parts, color differences, and packaging details are reasonable. Asking the agent to judge authenticity or quality like a specialist usually creates vague answers.

6. When to pass

Pass when the issue is not visible in normal use, the measurements are acceptable, and the item still fits your parcel plan. Do not pass because you are tired of waiting. That is usually when weak items slip through.

7. When to replace the item

Before approval: compare the QC photos with the listing, not with the thumbnail in your memory. If the main reason you liked the item is not visible in QC, ask for a focused photo first.

If the QC photos make you unsure, step back and compare the item with similar finds before approving the parcel.
